Q: What type of art do you create?
At the moment I do graphic design but hope to explore many forms of art and design in the future.
Q: What has it been like as an intern at Rising Tide Society?
Working at Rising Tide has been an incredibly educational and inspiring experience. Everyday I get to see creatives lifting up one another while also working alongside some of the most talented people in the creative industry.
Q: How has the Rising Tide Society impacted your life and/or career?
It has inspired me and reminded me that it’s not too late to find what I love and run with it!
Q: How did you come across your creative talent? Was there a specific moment?
I think I am still waiting for that moment actually. Ever since I was young, I’ve always known I have some creative and artistic ability so in high school and throughout college I have been exploring those opportunities. I love design but I also know that this is just the beginning of my career. I am excited to see where life takes me.
Q: How does your practice change overtime?
My style has definitely changed over the years and become more sophisticated and clean! I am always playing around with new styles and frequently checking pinterest!
Q: What motivates you within your craft?
The feeling I get when I finish a project and am truly proud of it.
Q: Best advice you’ve been given by another artist or influencer?
I often feel like I get into different art forms because I am not an expert in that field or because that’s not what I studied in college but recently another creative reminded that just because you didn’t study it doesn’t mean you can’t do it.
Q: What is your ultimate place of inspiration?
The RTS Office! When creatives are surrounded by other creatives, the amazing ideas just keep coming. Plus the natural light, from all the windows, keeps us all smiling :)
Q: What would be a dream project for you?
A dream project would be to work with the design team at Magnolia with Joanna Gaines. I have always had an interest in interior design, mainly in houses!
Q: If we bumped into you one weekend, where would you most likely be?
Frolicking around downtown Annapolis with my friends!
Her Rising Tide Society ArtWear is a limited time only! So make sure to shop it RN :)
